Terms of Service

1 Acceptance & Service Scope

By creating a school workspace, logging into tenant portals, or accessing SHAALAOS services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. SHAALAOS provides cloud-hosted multi-tenant School ERP software modules including admission management, fee collection registers, attendance tracking, exam grading, timetable scheduling, and parent communication tools.

2 Subscription Grants & User Accounts

• Institutional License: SHAALAOS grants subscribing institutions a non-exclusive, non-transferable, subscription-based license to access the ERP platform.
• Role Account Responsibility: Subscribing institutions are responsible for assigning appropriate roles (Super Admin, School Admin, Teacher, Parent, Student) and securing admin access credentials.
• Credential Confidentiality: Account credentials must not be shared. The institution must notify SHAALAOS immediately upon discovering any unauthorized account access.

3 Acceptable Use Policy

Users agree to use SHAALAOS strictly for legitimate educational and school administrative activities. You must not:

• Attempt to bypass multi-tenant isolation boundaries or access data belonging to another school workspace.
• Upload malware, unauthorized scripts, or harmful computer code to platform servers.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or extraction tools to harvest data without authorization.
• Perform unauthorized penetration testing or vulnerability scans against production infrastructure.

4 Billing, Fees & Renewal Terms

• Subscription Plans: SaaS subscription fees are billed according to the agreed plan tier (monthly or annual billing cycle).
• Taxes: All fees are subject to applicable government taxes (including GST where applicable).
• Payment Due Dates: Invoices must be settled within the specified payment terms to ensure uninterrupted portal access.

5 Service Availability & Maintenance (SLA)

SHAALAOS commits to maintaining a 99.9% Service Uptime SLA for core ERP portals. Scheduled maintenance windows are executed during off-peak hours with advance notice posted on institutional dashboards whenever possible.

6 Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, titles, software source code, proprietary algorithms, design assets, and trademarks associated with SHAALAOS remain the sole and exclusive property of ACADERS EDUVERSITY PRIVATE LIMITED. Subscribing institutions retain 100% ownership of their uploaded institutional data and student records.

7 Service Suspension & Termination

• Suspension for Non-Payment / Breach: Service access may be temporarily suspended in cases of prolonged invoice default or severe acceptable use violations.
• Data Export Window: Upon contract cancellation or termination, schools receive a 30-day grace period to export all student, financial, and attendance records before database purging.

8 Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SHAALAOS and ACADERS EDUVERSITY PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform usage. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in Indian courts.
